While monitoring Piping Plovers a Marbled Godwit flew past me and briefly landed on the mud flats. When I reached the area where landed, it was gone. I did not relocate it.

Other bird highlights: 10 fledged Piping Plovers from six nests, Clapper Rail (this and last week), Bank Swallows, approximately 200 Common Terns, 80 Least Terns, Kestral (hunting in the fenced area), Glossy Ibis flyover, Sharp-shinned Hawk flyover
