While fishing the south coast of Rhode Island today, I saw:

2- Royal Terns flying eastbound near Green Hill (east of Charlestown Breachway) about 100 yards offshore.

Approximately 300 Tree Swallows also about 100 yards offshore presumably feeding on small insects over water just west of Matunuck Beach.

1- Ruby throated Hummingbird erratically flying westbound about 100 yards offshore of the shore then flew over land out of site. This was near Mesquamicut Beach. (West of Weekapaug Breachway and east of Watch Hill.

10- Common Eider north side (leeward) of Center Wall offshore of Galilee. All brown, so thinking female of mixed young male birds.

*20-25 Common Eider by Harkness Park Beach rock in Groton, CT. Looked like all female or young male birds-all brown
