Earlier today I had a CONNECTICUT WARBLER at Haddam Meadows State Park
in Haddam. The bird was in the thickets along the southeast corner of
the park, near the boat ramp. More specifically, next to the yellow
gate and the boulders that are arranged in a line on the lawn. A
juvenile LAUGHING GULL, which I imagine is a scarce bird that far
upriver, flew by the ramp as well, headed south.
