'A long challenging day with moderate NW winds and the blue skies of death.
358 hawks today, including 36 Bald Eagles with at least 2 additional to the east. Regardless of how many cleared, the total was a Lighthouse record.
A possible Golden Eagle (white in flight feathers and tail) seen at considerable distance, with some other purported contradictory field marks, was best left relegated to UE (unidentified eagle) status. .
