[CT Birds] Stratford Red Knot, Pectoral Sand

10/7 Stratford, Beacon Point Rd/Birdseye St., Stratford Greenway - Juvenile PECTORAL SANDPIPER in magic marsh behind Animal Shelter; RED KNOT foraging with Black-bellied Plovers and Dunlin on mudflats of "Avco" Cove (at low tide). Also about 15 Ruby-crowned Kinglets and 2 Golden-crowned Kinglets intently feeding on tiny aphid (?) infestation on 3 small shade trees along paved walk near Deluca ballfield. Two Downy Woodpeckers and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker also joined in the feeding frenzy.
