Dear CT Birding Community,

Audubon Connecticut is currently accepting applications for the next round of Important Bird Area Small Matching Grants.   Projects within identified IBAs that 1) increase awareness about Important Bird Areas and the birds they support, 2) improve, restore or protect habitat, 3) increase our understanding of the abundance and distribution of priority bird species; or 4) implement conservation strategies put forth in IBA Conservation Plans and other strategic plans are eligible for funding.

A total of $10,000 is available. Individual projects are eligible for up to $2,500 each and a minimum of 1:1 match of funds, goods or services is required.  Special focus is given to proposals under $1,000. The deadline for submission is Nov. 11th, 2016.

The application is available at: http://ct.audubon.org/conservation/iba-small-matching-grants-program.

Feel free to get in touch by email or phone if you have any questions.
