Long Beach, Stratford
4:00-5:15 PM

While we did not see the continuing King Eider, Preston Lust and I did have
a LAPLAND LONGSPUR mixed in with a flock of Snow Buntings and an
unidentified JAEGER (either Pomarine or Parasitic).

The jaeger was seen flying as well as sitting on the water for a long
period of time around dusk at the mouth of the harbor (in between Long
Beach and Seaside Park). It was a dark morph bird, apparently larger then
the nearby Herring Gulls.
