[CT Birds] Upstate eagles and more..

1:30pm Mount Tom Pond:

1- adult Bald Eagle 
1- immature Bald Eagle

1- dead Whitetail Deer dead on the shore next to route 202 on the northeast part of the lake. Blood trail suggests it was struck out on the lake and was either dragged or it struggled back to the shoreline on the ice.

Lake Waramaug:
99% frozen 
1- adult Bald Eagle flyover along East Shore Road
Assorted dabbling ducks and Hooded Mergansers in pockets of free ice near docks

Bantam Lake:
99% frozen with ice fisherman out on the ice
Dabbing ducks and Hooded Mergansers by bridge at Bantam River

Below Shepaug Dam:

A few dozen Common Mergansers,
No eagles

*lots of Red tailed Hawk activity all over
