If someone can post the letter to the editor or a link to it  I'd love to 
see it. Certainly an article about an area in California proves  little if 
anything. To begin with, the trees there are likely to be some sort of  
evergreen. And the climate there is very different as well.  It's something  to 
keep an eye on but nothing to panic about.
