Join us for the talk by CT DEEP wildlife biologist Brian Hess, "Eagles in Connecticut: Return of an Icon", on Thursday, January 19 at 7pm, at Whitney Center, 200 Leeder Hill Rd., Hamden.

Bald eagles were once in such dire trouble that people discussed what should replace them as America's national symbol. Learn about eagle biology, their decline, their recovery, and what is being done to conserve their populations for future generations. Sponsored by the Hamden Land Conservation Trust.
