The $20 annual RWA permit is definitely worth it, whether looking for spring warblers, summer nesters, fall Broad-wings or wintering owls. You also get access to Chamberlain, Bethany, Pine Hill, Saltonstall, Genessee, Sugar Loaf, Big Gulf, and Hamonassett tracts.

Subject: [CT Birds] Maltby Lakes
Does anyone have insight on Maltby Lakes for birding? I live close by but obviously you need pass/code etc. Is there a day pass or anyone going Sunday? Is it worth it to see birds etc. ? It is so pretty I've just always wanted to go in. Thoughts?
