[CT Birds] Meriden landfill

Slogged through remnants of drifts and soggy meadow areas this morning at the Meriden landfill.  Not a lot of variety, but still had over 100 horned larks, 2 black vultures, 4 male Buffleheads flying over and 1 beautifully displaying male redwing.  

I was hoping for the usual residents; turkeys and bluebirds.  None this morning.
