[CT Birds] White-rump, Blackpoll

I had a Blackpoll Warbler singing at a random spot in Meriden this morning.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, there are still a few White-rumped Sandpipers hanging or at Stratford Point. Please take care not to flush the roosting flocks of shorebirds if you are checking them out. Keep your distance, use a scope and avoid sudden movements and keep quiet. High tide resting spots are very important for the health of these long-distance migrants.
