Driving roads with windows down early this morning through part of Woodbury/Roxbury/Southbury yielded some nice pockets of migrants that totaled 16 species of Warbler, including a TENNESSEE WARBLER and a couple of HOODED WARBLERS. The Tennessee was on Upper Grassy Hill Rd (Woodbury?) just north of intersection with Transylvania Road.

Also, at the south end of Cassidy Road in Southbury, a rich finch-like warble was belted out a couple times. Sounded more like a Blue Grosbeak than anything, but the bird shut up and was not seen.
