With a low pressure system sitting out in the atlantic, the winds have a strong easterly component to them, so over the next couple of days, the SE winds swinging, NE and then NW on Sunday have the potential to bring terns and shorebirds down.Sat night into Sunday seems to be when the winds will be gusting to 25 mph. Of note, it is the time of year when whimbrels, phalaropes are migrating and can be caught up in these spring storms.
Just an idea to keep them on your radar if sound watching. Julian Hough New Haven, CT 06519  www.naturescapeimages.wordpress.com
