[CT Birds] Sandy Point

 While monitoring Piping Plovers: 1 Black Skimmer, fished and alighted on mud flat.  4 White-rumped Sandpipers, 4 Dunlin, 60 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 1 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Red-throated Loon, and a Peregrine Falcon. Also, Rudy Turnstones, Great and Snowy Egrets and the usual nesting birds: Spotted Sandpipers, Willets, and Ospreys. Least and Common Terns only flying through and looking around.
