Your favorite eastern (or continent-wide) guide should be fine, they all include Canada, not just the USA. Just look at the parts of the distribution maps you've been ignoring.
There is a New Brunswick list you might find useful.https://listserv.unb.ca/cgi-bin/wa?A0=NATURENB

Subject: [CT Birds] suggested bird ID and reference for E. Canada??
This will be my first birding opportunity Eastern Canada (New Brunswick)
Needed, practical field guide for bird ID and reference - to be carried.
Download nice too, but prefer book................ any suggestions, please?
(can't attend the upcoming COA meeting, darn it!)
Perhaps this isn't appropriate - shouldn't be posted. I understand! It is
likely I can find something eminently suitable when I get there.
This list is provided by the Connecticut Ornithological Association (COA) for the discussion of birds and birding in Connecticut.
