Hi all,

For what it's worth, Joel Helander titled his book, The Island called Faulkner's. You'll have to read it to find out why.

Frank Gallo,
Life is short. Bird often.

Wikipedia, not totally reliable but useful none the less, favors the no "u" non-possessive spelling, but it lists both. So I don't worry about it.

"Falkner Island (also called Faulkner's Island) is a 2.87-acre (1.16 ha) crescent-shaped island located in Long Island Sound 3 miles (5 km) off the coast of Guilford, Connecticut, United States."
