8/15/17 - Orient Point to New London
1 pm to 2:30 pm aboard the Susan Anne ferry. Completely echoing this
Didn't see too much on the way to Orient Point but the return trip to New
London yielded a Cory's Shearwater in NY waters that flew around the bow of
the ship into view and 5 Wilson's Storm Petrel in CT waters just over the
line. It seems the birds have moved slightly east.

After a very quiet transit from New London to Orient Point, three WILSON'S
STORM-PETREL were seen comfortably within CT waters on the drizzly return
home. None were seen in NY. Shearwaters were nowhere to be found.
