On 10/10 I encountered a beautiful partially leucistic Eastern Phoebe at
the Woodbridge Community Gardens. It had white primaries, white tail
feathers, and a white breast. I was very fortunate that when I first
spotted the bird it was sitting on a fence bobbing its tail next to another
phoebe. Had I seen it flying by I may have had a heart attack thinking that
I had seen something much more rare.
