Subject: [CT Birds] Paucity of winter birds in NW CT
I have lived and birded often here in the North Western part of CT for over 45 years now, and this winter has been the worst winter ever! Their are no birds to see and mention at all. And the cone crop up here is well above average. Is it this bad in the rest of CT as well? Not only a paucity of winter birds, but even regulars are down it seems everywhere. Would love to hear from you all on this.....Paul CarrierPs - Water birds not included inland for most waters are frozen here.
This list is provided by the Connecticut Ornithological Association (COA) for the discussion of birds and birding in Connecticut.
