Flocks of male Red-winged Blackbirds arriving at my feeders are always a welcome sign of spring, but I usually don't get them until March. This morning I had a flock of about 40 raid my feeders. All were males with 1 Common Grackle and a few Starlings tagging along. With the forecasted warm up this week and next, I'm not sure to welcome this as a sign of spring or fear this as another sign of Global Warming (not climate change).
