[CT Birds] tick warning

A dog walk in Guilford's Timberlands Preserve saw a tick getting on my pooches head. Saw it once we were home.

Walking in a forest trail in the West Hartford MDC reservoir number 6 area, I got some scratches on my bare legs and later when I was putting ointment on them, I noticed an embedded tiny tick on the back of my leg. I know they can come out early in the spring, but give me a break, February 21?  Also had a carpenter bee and houseflies around the house.
