A SOOTY TERN died after being brought into a vet's office, obviously
blown in with the storm. I did not find any word on where in
Connecticut it was found. Two were reported from Rhode Island too.
This is not only an unusual bird for this part of the country, but
extremely so for the time of year.

days); 5 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS (rather early; record is April 7);
SHORT-EARED OWL; 10 Glossy Ibis
Bridgeport, Seaside Park -- adult LAUGHING GULL, 1st-year ICELAND GULL
