Note: Some of you may not be familiar with what does and does not get
included in the daily rare birds report. The idea is to include
uncommon and rare birds only. The list of birds that are not reported
can be found on the common birds list at:
http://www.ctbirding.org/commonbirds.htm
Anything on that list is, at most, included as a migration note. Or
included because quantities were unusual, or dates are particularly
early or late. (Or because I forgot to edit them out!)
So if you report something that doesn't get included, check the
migration notes (if any) and the common birds list.

was relocated and seen with 8 Glossy Ibis. It was seen in the marsh

BITTERN flyover overfrom Nature Center and landed in marsh. AMERICAN
GOLDEN PLOVER at large rain pool with 4 BLUE-WINGED TEAL. 2 LITTLE
BLUE HERON; at Meg's Point 3 PURPLE SANDPIPER on rocks, 1 Red-Necked
Grebe 7:22PM
