Note: Thanks to Paul Cianfaglione for a timely reminder posted to
CTBirds that migration has started for more than shorebirds.  He
mentions Norther Waterthruses in particular, as well as other warblers
being found outside their breeding areas.

8/03 -- West Haven, Sandy Point 6:30-8:30am (low tide, and
smelly) -- 1 BLACK TERN (molting adult) with the flock of 500
COMMON TERNS as far out on harbor edge as one could
walk (with Grace P.)
Stratford, Access Rd. pool, 11am -- STILT SANDPIPER,
GLOSSY IBIS
Milford, Milford Point, 1-3:15pm (high tide, and hot
sun!) -- large numbers of shorebirds (10 species)
