8/29 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- present about 10:45am-12:30pm, 1
adult BAIRD'S SANDPIPER, 2 WILLETS (at least one "western"), 1 RED
KNOT, 1 OR 2 FORSTER'S TERNS, 1 adult ROSEATE TERN. Also among the 12
species of shorebirds was 1 WESTERN SANDPIPER, which was very weak,
had a wound on it's chest/belly, and which eventually expired in the
incoming tide at our feet.
