 From Patrick Dugan:
12/06 - Stamford, off Stamford Ave -- 8:45, 4 KING EIDERS, all
female/immature types, possible 1 adult female with 4 immatures.

 From Maria Stockmal:
12/06 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- 3 p.m. to 3:10, WESTERN
FLYCATCHER. It was moving in the path and along the edges of the path
between the two ponds.

From Mardi Dickinson et all:
12/06 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- WESTERN FLYCATCHER Species
continues from 10AM-11:35AM. Fabulous looks along the pathway not but
5 feet away.
12/06 - Westport - Sherwood Island State Park -- 100 COMMON REDPOLLS
feeding around the east beach in all of the birches. Seen at
8:20AM-9:15AM hanging together.

From Bill Banks with Paul Fusco:
12/06 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- WESTERN FLYCATCHER continues
at 9:10, giving good looks.

 From Marty Moore:
12/06 - New Haven, Fort Hale -- an adult Golden Eagle came in over the
water from the West at 11:30 a.m. and went inland to the East
suggesting it might be a local bird rather than a migrant. But, of
course, who knows. Also lots of Red-breasted Nuthatches at Fort Hale
and East Shore Park, but no Crossbills.

 From Andy Griswold:
12/06 - Essex, Foxboro Point -- 3:45PM; YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT feeding
in sunlit cedar trees.

 From Paul Carrier:
12/06 - North Torrington, Saw Mill Hill Rd -- 3:20; a single female
RED CROSSBILL eating from cones at top of a stand of Black Spruces
around an abandoned building. This road has many spruces along its
length, I checked all, and none other then her. Most spruce trees were
bare or sparce with cones - several were loaded.
