12/15 - Highlights of the Woodbury-Roxbury count -- 31 black vultures,
9 bald eagles, 6 northern harriers, 8 sawwhet owls, 1 long-eared owl,
34 yellow-bellied sapsuckers, over 5000 robins, 13 white-crowned
sparrows, 8 pine siskins, 2 rough-legged hawks, 2 northern shrikes, 9
american pipits, 73 common redpolls, and 1 merlin. 91 total species
with 13 of 15 areas reporting.

12/15 - The Hartford Christmas Bird Count recorded a Rufous
Hummingbird. Additional noteworthy birds (for northern CT Counts)
included Bufflehead, Ruddy Duck,Bald Eagle, Rough-legged Hawk,
Kestrel, Merlin, Peregrine Falcon, Iceland Gull, Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker, Gray Catbird, American Pipit, and Common Redpoll.?
