Old Lyme, Upper Great Island -- ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, Dark phase
Lieutenant River Lane -- Yellow-breasted Chat continues

ICELAND GULL.

12/21 - Windsor, Windsor-Bloomfield Landfill with EJ Raynor -- 1
GLAUCOUS GULL (first-winter) and 2 "Kumlien's" ICELAND GULLS
(third-winter and first-winter) among 1500 large gulls
Milford, Waste Station on Oronoque Rd -- 1 GLAUCOUS GULL
(second-winter) among 250 large gulls

12/20 - Southington yard -- COMMON REDPOLL at feeders
12/21 - Southington yard -- Two COMMON REDPOLLS

12/20 - West Cornwall, Coggswell Road Feeder -- Male and female
Red-breasted Nuthatch; one Common Redpoll (first time at this feeder.)

12/20-21 - Farmington -- Brown Creeper at suet feeder.  Red breasted
nuthatch continues at suet feeder (female daily and male about once a
week since mid-October)
12/21 - Farmington/Bristol line at Rt 6 -- 1 Northern Goshawk in
flight, south to north across road.  Excellent view as I was stopped
at the light - Big, grey, fast!
