[CT Daily] 02/21/2007 WHITE-WINGED DOVE

Note: Apparently the White-winged Dove in Branford was seen somewhat
regularly over the course of the day.  The question of whether it was
an escaped bird is still open.

Directions to 2 Shady Lane, Branford
From the west, Exit 53 from I-95; right onto Rt 1 West, pass under a
railroad overpass, though the light at Rt 142, 2 more quick lights and
take the left at Wendy's onto Alps Rd, .7 miles to Briarwood Lane
(this is the second intersection with Briarwood), left onto Briarwood,
then left onto Shady Lane.  Number 2 is at the end of the road at the
cul-de-sac, the feeder it was visiting is in the front yard.
From the east, Exit 54 from I-95; left at the exit, right onto Rt 1
West, perhaps a bit under 1 mile till you go under the railroad
overpass, then continue with directions from the west.
