[CT Daily] CT Report 01/27/2007 LAZULI BUNTING

Note: Sorry to have to pass this on from one report today: "We made
another attempt to relocate the Lazuli Bunting we were disturbed to
see a green SUV with Connecticut plates drive right up into the group
of sparrows that the Lazuli has been hanging with scaring them all
away.  All I could see was a big lens hanging out the window so I know
it was a photographer one who obviously has not read the etiquette on
bird watching.

sparrows along the park road just before reaching the East Beach
parking lot on west side of road. Also several SURF SCOTER off Meig's

1/25 - Easton -- South End of Aspetuck Resevoir at Section North of
Rt. 136 along Rt. 58 (Black Rock Turnpike) at Dam, fountain, pull off
at south end. Adult Bald Eagle in Dead Tree just south of Dam; aasumed
to be wintering in the area.
