NOTE: Spring issue of The COA Bulleting is now available on-line.
COA members will be receiving it in the mail, but anyone can read it
now (and in color!) at http://www.ctbirding.org/07docs/07spring.pdf.

This issue of the Bulletin includes the COA Annual Meeting
registration form. This year the meeting is Saturday, April 14 at
Middlesex Community College in Middletown, CT. It looks like another
great program this year, and it is always a great place to meet up
with fellow Connecticut birders.

And speaking the COA, remember that the daily Rare Birds report is
brought to you by the COA, as is the new CTBirds discussion list. For
information on joining the COA see http://www.ctbirding.org/join.htm.
And of course to join the new and active CTBirds discussion list visit

 From Donna Lorello:
3/03 - Branford 2 Shady Lane -- the WHITE-WINGED DOVE has been
continuing to hold a semi-stable schedule - arriving with Mourning
Doves between 6:45 a.m. and 8 a.m. At times, he will hang around in
the trees - so scan around if he's not feeding on the ground. He will
also return for afternoon feeding around 3:30 p.m. or so - this
schedule has been holding all week.

In chatting with several of the visitors, it was pointed out that the
directions seemed inaccurate - however, in reviewing them, they are
fine. Please keep in mind that Briarwood Lane has two entrances as it
circles back onto Alps Road. If you take the first entrance
(Stonegate Apartments will be on your left) - you will take a RIGHT
onto Shady Lane. If you follow the posted directions - you will skip
the first Briarwood Lane, go up the hill and take a left at the second
entrance onto Briarwood and a LEFT onto Shady Lane. I hope I am not
confusing anyone but wanted to clarify as it was mentioned to me
several times. Either way will get you to the point of interest.
