3/30 - Stratford, Short Beach -- Black-headed Gull at 2.00PM today in
with about 100 Bonaparte's Gulls.

3/30 - East Canaan, ridge to the south and west off hwy 44 at Laurel
Brook Farms between East Canaan and Norfolk -- 20+ COMMON RAVENS, many
in pairs engaged in aerial display and even diving and chasing an
immature BALD EAGLE.
3/30 - Litchfield, White Memorial -- 2 PURPLE FINCH around Museum,
RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH at Museum feeder, 3 REDHEADS Bantam Lake, many
BROWN CREEPERS and RUSTY BLACKBIRDS

Kent -- nesting Common Ravens on the Applachian Trail, 2 Brown

3/30 - Farmington, Batterson Pond -- This morning there was an adult
ICELAND GULL (pure white wing tips) in among the gull roost.  The 3
LESSER SCAUP (1 male, 2 female) I reported yesterday are still there.
The Lesser's are very tolerant and make a good study for those who
have trouble with scaup species.

roost N of lake at 9:45 a.m.; at least 10 WLSON'S SNIPE at Sandbank

continues at Edgewood Park.  Bird was very visible in the largest tree
to the left of the picnic table next to the dog run.
West Haven, Sandy Point -- 10:30 AM, 11 Piping Plovers, 1 Short-eared

spectacular breeding plumage with impressive white throats and flank
patches
