5/20 - West Hartford, Reservoir off Farmington Avenue -- SUMMER
TANAGER (female)

5/20 - Branford -- second WHITE-WINGED DOVE at same location as the
one reported in the same place for months.  This bird is not missing
any toes unlike the first one I saw.  Also, its bill seems unblemished
and feathers seem in good shape other than a few rustled up from it
being picked on by some pigeons.  I loaded several photos to Webshots
http://community.webshots.com/user/arcadian7 - under Branford River
Birds.  I tried to get an assortment despite some parts not being in
focus - hoping to give an overall view of the bird.  I was not able to
get any pictures of the tail as the pigeons were pretty tough on
pushing this guy around.

Note 1: A bit more detail on yesterday's report of  Yellow-breasted
Chat at Quinnipiac River State Park in North Haven: "From the Banton
Street entrance, the birds were in about 1/4 mile on the main road in
trees and brush where homes used to be between the road and the
Quinnipiac River."

Note 2: The Kentucky Warbler reported yesterday from Naugautck State
Forest was NOT relocated toay.  A one day (20 minutes, actually)
wonder.
