Correction: The Summer Tanager reported in the first version of this
report was determined to be a Scarlet Tanager.
From Donna Lorello:
5/20 - Branford -- second WHITE-WINGED DOVE at same location as the
one reported in the same place for months. This bird is not missing
any toes unlike the first one I saw. Also, its bill seems unblemished
and feathers seem in good shape other than a few rustled up from it
being picked on by some pigeons. I loaded several photos to Webshots
http://community.webshots.com/user/arcadian7 - under Branford River
Birds. I tried to get an assortment despite some parts not being in
focus - hoping to give an overall view of the bird. I was not able to
get any pictures of the tail as the pigeons were pretty tough on
pushing this guy around.

Chat at Quinnipiac River State Park in North Haven: "From the Banton
Street entrance, the birds were in about 1/4 mile on the main road in
trees and brush where homes used to be between the road and the
Quinnipiac River."
