The HARRIS'S SPARROW at Allen's Meadow in Wilton was reported as of
1PM today.

And there was a second hand report of a possible Pine Grosbeak in
Southbury.

Compo Beach -- 3 Northern Gannets (1 Adult, 2  first-year) , 1
White-winged Scoter
Longshore Country Club, Westport, Brush Dump -- 2 Cackling Geese
flying over with  migrant flock of Canada Geese

11/05 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park - FEMALE COMMON EIDER
alongside the rocks of the farthest point NE.  In the pond near the
parking lot was an AMERICAN BITTERN.  In the East Beach parking lot
was a flock of about 100 Snow Buntings.
Madison, Bauer Park -- 2 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES.  Lots of cone-laden
conifers here.  If we begin to get winter finches, this would be a
good place to look!

11/06 - Southbury, Audubon Center at Bent of the River -- At least 2
PINE SISKINS, feeding in the birches near the barn.   They have been
hit and miss here so far, but these feeders are always good ones to
watch for the possibility of winter finches.
