feeding on the ground under the feeders near the barn. 3+ PINE
SISKINS, Flying over with ~60 American Goldfinches.

BITTERN (Meig's Point pond, and possibly a 2nd flying over as I was on

NUTHATCH (West Beach pines), 1 BROWN CREEPER (West Beach pines), 1
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (West Beach area)
11/08 - Durham, Durham Meadows -- 5 BLACK VULTURES, 1 RUSTY BLACKBIRD,
2 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKERS

11/09 - New Haven, Lighthouse Pt Park hawkwatch -- 1 Northern Goshawk,
1 Peregrine Falcon (thanks to Cornell folks). Also 95 Purple Finches,
12 Snow buntings, 3 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, 18 AMERICAN PIPITS, 15 PINE
SISKINS, 1 CAVE SWALLOW, 1 CUCKOO (Prob. Black-billed), 1 RED-BREASTED
NUTHATCH, 1 EASTERN MEADOWLARK. In the park: 2 Fox Sparrows.

(Correction from yesterday's report) Simsbury -- I gave you bum info
on the location of the Northern Shrike here in Simsbury. The bird was
almost at the end on Owens Brook Blvd ( not Ironhorse ) as you get to
Great Pond Rd across from the entrance to McLean Home.
