 From Tim Antanaitis:
11/12 - New Hartford (Bakersville), Maple Hollow Road and Gray Road --
WESTERN KINGBIRD and NORTHERN SHRIKE
From Route 202 in New Hartford (Bakersville) turn north onto Maple
Hollow Road and drive until you pass the Bakersville swamp. I didn't
see either of these birds at the swamp or at the first cow pasture (2
cows) on the right. They were at the bigger pasture (more cows) on
the left that has some trees blocking the pasture. This area is
visible if you park at the corner of Maple Hollow Road and Gray Road
and get out and look from there towards the only nearby house. There
is a hedgerow separating the far pasture and a field closer to the
road. Both birds were in this hedgerow. The Western Kingbird
(2:35-2:40) was in the top of the tall bare tree on the left. The
Northern Shrike (~2:00) was on top of the cedar just to the left of
where the Kingbird was. I was there from 1:15-3:15 and both birds
only made these brief appearances.

 From Patsy Mason/Marjie Haley:
11/11 - Bakersville off Rt. 202, Bakersville Swamp on Maple Hollow Rd.
