adult one imm., 3+ American Pipit, several Peregrine Falcons

10/08 - Stamford, Cove Island Park, Brush Dump -- 2 Lincoln's
Sparrows, 1 adult and 1 imm White-crowned Sparrow, 2 Yellow-bellied
Sapsuckers, 1 Eastern Meadowlark, 104 Snow Geese, and 3 Common Eiders
flying west at 8:50 a.m.,  1 Philadelphia Vireo

10/08 - Stamford, Shippan Point sea watch -- 2 Black Scoter, and 5
Surf Scoter (both groups going east), 12 American Pintail flying 
west, 1 Red-throated Loon, 1 White-rumped Sandpiper (rare for
Stamford)

10/08 - Wilton, Allen's Meadows, Community Gardens, in a.m -- 1 male
Wood Duck, 1 adult and 1 imm. White-crowned Sparrow, 8 Purple Finch.

WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (8), (wood edge to the right of the outhouse
near the entrance to Willard's Island at dusk)
