uncommon inland, great comparison with 3 Double-crested Cormorant
pulled out on rocks)
10/16 0 Farmington, Farmington Meadows -- late morning, three swallow
species feeding over a working tractor,  1 CLIFF SWALLOW,  2 NORTHERN
ROUGH-WINGED SWALOW and 20+ TREE SWALLOW.  Also AMERICAN PIPITS.

Willard's Trail.  NELSON'S?SHARP-TAILED SPARROW (2) in reeds to right
of exit road leading back to Nature Center from Willard's parking

ducks including NORTHERN SHOVELER, NORTHERN PINTAIL (3), COMMON EIDER
(1-on plover-nesting bar), BLACK SCOTER, WHITE-WINGED SCOTER(3), 11
species diurnal raptors, 15 shorebirds including AMERICAN GOLDEN
PLOVER, WHIMBREL, WESTERN SANDPIPER, PECTORAL SANDPIPER, CASPIAN
TERN(1-fly by to the west), YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO (out in open and even
down to marsh-edge), MARSH WREN, SWAINSON'S THRUSH, AMERICAN PIPIT, 8
sparrow species including WHITE-CROWNED and SALT MARSH SHARP-TAILED,
BOBOLINK.
