The COMMON GROUND-DOVE was seen again today but as expected the
installation of the water line is interfering with viewing.


 From Renee Baade, Nobel Proctor, and others:
10/29 - East Haven, Ora Ave/Proto Dr -- Common Ground-Dove seen
briefly at 3:30 PM and again at 4:00 PM.   Did not see dove at 12:30
PM, trucks working along side of seed site with jack hammers etc.
Workers quit at 3 PM, they will be back again tomorrow to finish up
the ditch they have been working on.

10/29 - Norfolk, Dennis Hill State Park -- 5PM, a flock (approx. 24)
Snow Buntings.

10/29 - New Haven, Lighthouse Point hawk watch -- 3 imm NORTHERN
GOSHAWKS, a flock of 6 EVENING GROSBEAKS that alighted briefly in a
tree. Other non-rators included 1 NORTHERN PINTAIL, 25 American
Pipits, 475 PURPLE FINCHES, 8 EASTERN MEADOWLARKS, 2 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS,
12 PINE SISKINS.

10/29 - Ashford yard -- Red-headed Woodpecker (1 adult still caching
acorns) which I first saw on 10/7, and a first of the season Fox
Sparrow on Sunday, and abundant Purple Finches (8).
