9/03 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- HUDSONIAN GODWIT; Godwit was
observed from 11:30 -12:00. Bird left Sandy Point at noon, flying
northeast.
Stratford, Access Rd pools opposite R.E. Michel Building -- 1 SORA

along back of pond. Also Solitary Sandpiper.

9/03 - Hammonasset State Park, Madison 8:30 to 10:30 AM --
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER with two killdeer moving between the island in
Meig's Point traffic loop and the adjacent field, was present entire
two hours and still there when I left; close and easy to observe even
from road. Willard's Island trail - YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER.
Red-breasted Nuthatches (3).

SANDPIPERS, 1 AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER (with about 50+ Black-bellies on
the tern side of the bar), 3 RED KNOTS, 1 FORSTER'S TERN, 1 'WESTERN'
WILLET
