9/24 - Groton, Bluff Point S.P., 6:55-11am -- with Denny
Abbott & Terry Bronson -- 1 YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, 3 YELLOW-BELLIED
SAPSUCKERS, 15 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, 1 GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH
(photos), 700 warblers of at least 10 species (most were in flight

9/23 - Madison, Hammonassett Beach S.P. -- 2 AMERICAN BITTERNS (both
in the little marsh near the viewing blind at the rear of the Meig's
Point Nature Center lot), 1 LITTLE BLUE HERON (in the salt pond near
the Meig's Point lot).

9/24 - West Hartford, Route 44 powerlines -- 4+ PINE SISKIN fly over
and calling, many PURPLE FINCH, 1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW, 1 WINTER WREN, 10
species of warbler.

company, had YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOOS.

overgrown fenced marsh north of Nature Center, 2:45 p.m., motionless
with bill held high. Bird seen also 9/19.
