 From John Maynard:
9/26 - Middletown, Nature Gardens -- PURPLE FINCH flock feeding in
mature red cedar tree strewn with light-blue cedar berries; also
feeding was a BAY-BREASTED WARBLER (female). Purple finches numbered
at least 14, 12 females and 2 males. There were adults and immatures
seen in each gender. 9:30-10:15 a.m.

 From Stephanie Almeida:
09/26 - Wallingford, North Farms Resevoir - 6 Horned Grebe at 4:30pm

 From Patrick Comins:
9/25-26 - Waterbury -- adult Peregrine Falcon last night, perched atop
the billboard visible from eastbound I-84, just after the Rt. 8
Junction (the one for some hospital with a photo of a woman and her
mother). Again this morning, I saw a peregrine again atop the
billboard on the way to work again this morning (very tricky to see
the sign from westbound).

NIGHT HERON on osprey nest platform.
Orange backyard -- 1 RED BREASTED NUTHATCH at suet feeder

 From Joanne and Rich Connors
9/26 - North Haven Backyard -- RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH. Third
