9/28 - Stratford, Long Beach -- 9 NELSON'S SHARP-TAILED SPARROW, 2 RED
KNOT. The Nelson's were found in a group about 60 or 70 yards past
the western end of the parking lot on the marsh side. They were
feeding on spartina seeds at half tide rising. There may have been 1
alterus in the group, but the others had features of subvirgatus.
