Chickadee Bridge) -- 5 Red-breasted Nuthatches, 2 Rusty Blackbirds, 1

2/24 -  Old Lyme, DEP headquarters -- the 2 PEREGRINE FALCONS were
perched on top of the electrical tower on the Old Lyme side of the
bridge at 5:15PM.
Old Saybrook, Dock and Dine Restaurant -- 14 Lesser Scaup.

2/25 - Hartford, Hartford Landfill -- 1 LAPLAND LONGSPUR feeding on
weeds along the side of the landfill with 70 or so Horned Larks.
2/25 - Hartford, Connecticut Recovery Resource Authority -- 1 first
winter ICELAND GULL sitting on a maintenance building with other
gulls.

2/25 - West Haven Boat Ramp -- 4 LESSER SCAUP (with 150+ Greater
Scaup).

2/23 - Winsted, Oak St., between Mountain Ave. & Bank St. -- 20 Pine
Grosbeaks feeding in crabapple trees at 3 p.m. These birds come and go
at various times of the day.

2/24 - Winchester, 121 Laurel Way (Rosgen Wildlife Sanctuary feeders)
-- 2 Red-breasted Nuthatches, 1 Common Redpoll between 1 and 2 p.m.
120 Laurel Way (private property, but easily seen from the road) -- 1
adult male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
