1/07 - rt 272 north from Norfolk, field on left just before
Marlborough Mass state line -- 2:30PM, 6 BOHEMIAN WAXWING - by
themselves eating from I believe Multiflora rose? Also, Tobey Rd west
of 272 down in valley - 3 flyover EVENING GROSBEAKS - not seen well,
but heard distinctive call.

1/07 - South Windsor, Vibert Road -- about 3:30, 1 imm. NORTHERN
SHRIKE. Where the brook runs under the road, it was on the north,
(right) side of the road sitting at the very tip of the small tree in
the marsh.

in marsh, YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT as previously reported.
Old Saybrook, power tower at I-95 bridge -- Peregrine Falcon;
Westbrook, Menunketesuck -- 8 RED CROSSBILLS in pines bordering public
parking lot.
Madison, Hammonasset, Meigs Point -- 3 LAPLAND LONGSPURS and drake
NORTHERN PINTAIL, Purple Sandpiper;
West Beach pines -- 5+ Red-breasted Nuthatches.
Middlefield, Miller Road -- Ring-necked Pheasant

feeders.

Old Saybrook, North Cove Rough-legged Hawk (dark-morph)
