 From Paul Carrier:
1/09 - West Hartland, Milo Rd -- 4, possibly more PINE GROSBEAKS and a
single WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL in with them. They were high in a grove
of White Spruce with many loaded with cones, but were eating the
spruce buds instead, even the lone Crossbill was eating the buds. This
is a dense grove, and I'm sure many more birds were feeding there but
not visible.

 From Steve Broker:
1/09 - Woodbridge, West Rock Ridge -- (3:30-3:45 P.M.) COMMON RAVEN
pair perching on and gliding along cliff face in general
vicinity of previous nest sites, in very strong WNW winds.

 From Carolyn Fisher:
1/09 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 8 Snow Buntings in parking
area by nature center.

From Ted Gilman: (for James Flynn)
01/08 - Greenwich, Audubon Center -- BLACK VULTURE flying over north
end of sanctuary
