20 PINE GROSBEAKS right in the parking lot, around 9 A.M.for about 20
minutes before flying off.

CROSSBILLS, and an American Bittern from the blind that is just behind
the Meigs Point Nature Center. Also noteworthy was a Northern Goshawk

continues. Great looks by four birders around 9:30 am. After everyone
left I stuck around and the bird appeared again and was feeding on
multiflora rose fruit.
